Astellas responded to the Data Protection Act by commissioning some new e-learning.
They approached us to devise collateral to help promote the learning, and achieve their desired target of 90% employee completion of the programme.
Rather than produce materials that had the same shelf life as the learning, we developed a distinct business-focussed look and feel that could be used over a longer period of time to promote data privacy.
Individual messages were produced for each of the learning modules (consistent with the principles of the act) but in a manner that was timeless once reference to the learning was removed.
The results were much-loved, and the platform is used to this day. The e-learning targets were achieved, but the original ambition for the commission has been exceeded.
